A new report from the Minnesota Office of the Legislative Auditor looked at the wide-ranging benefits hospitals and health systems bring to Minnesota, pegging the value at more than $7 billion over five years, and twice the $3.7 billion in taxes they would have paid if they were not non-profit enterprises.
